-Install the joints on pipes of their same nominal sizes.
-Ensure the bolts are of proper length.
-Avoid that any material used to connect the pipes or that burrs present on the pipe ends themselves protrude inside the bore and obstruct part of the flow.
-Keep the joints clean and inspect at least once every six months.
